Alexandra E. Witt is an American television news journalist who currently hosts the television news program Weekends with Alex Witt. She previously was the host of MSNBC Live and Morning Joe First Look on MSNBC. Witt joined the network in January 1999.
She is a member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants and also a member of the band Mrs. Robinson
