Do I Qualify for the Amazon Prime Seniors Discount?

Unfortunately, most seniors do not qualify for the Amazon Senior Discount. This is due to the fact that you must have a valid EBT Card or are on Medicaid for you to qualify for the offer. This means a healthy 75-year-old senior would probably not qualify for this service.

Cost of Amazon Prime

The normal price for Amazon prime is $12.99 per month which equates to $119 dollars after the yearly discount. And even though amazon offers discount prime for seniors, it is not completely free membership for seniors.

If you have met the qualifying requirement we have mentioned above, your monthly amazon prime account will cost $5.99 which translates to about $59.88 annually. However this subscription on amazon prime for seniors offers month-to-month subscriptions, you will not get the yearly subscription discount because they haven’t introduced that payment plan yet.

Check out daily discounts through Amazon Prime’s “Deal of the Day” and “Lightening Deal” offers.
