Barbara Lee Edwards is an American journalist who is currently an evening anchor for KFMB-TV in San Diego, California. She is also an Emmy Award-winning journalist who has covered stories from breaking news to special assignments, including her exclusive interview with President Barack Obama.
Edwards has been at the helm of the CBS News 8 anchor desk since 2001, anchoring the 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts every weeknight. She previously served as a senior news anchor at CTV in Ottawa, Canada.
