Noel King (b. May 26) is an American journalist who serves as one of the hosts of NPR’s Morning Edition and Up First since she started in 2018. She has been working in radio since 2004, starting as in Khartoum as a freelance journalist for the Voice of America. She also worked for Public Radio International’s The World and was a correspondent for the Planet Money podcast. 

Noel has also worked as a fill-in host for Weekend All Things Considered and 1A from NPR Member station WAMU. Prior to NPR, she served as a senior reporter and fill-in host for Marketplace. At Marketplace, she reviewed the origins and effects of inequality.
